You may know Grant's work from his 9-years at Beaux Freres, 5 years of which as head winemaker. To compliment these wines Chef Sara Hauman will create a festive, holiday smorgasbord to specifically pair with the recently released 2016 Flaneur wines. Arden Wine Bar + Kitchen is honored to announce a special dinner with iconic Willamette Valley winemaker Michael G. Etzel of Beaux Frères. On Thursday, July 26th, in honor of the start of the International Pinot Noir Celebration, Arden will host a 4-course dinner featuring dishes created specifically for the occasion by Chef Sara Hauman. The wine selections will be curated by Etzel himself, focusing on classic Willamette Valley varietals from his family brands. Expect special bottles and a few surprises.
Henriot Champagne and oyster hour begins at 6pm, and dinner starts at 7pm. Tickets are limited in number, $200 per guest, and a percentage of sales benefiting a project special to Etzel - the Willamette Valley Oak Accord.

Selections will include a range of both traditional and non-traditional Willamette Valley varietals, with some wines being released for the first time. The light, bright style of Brianne's wines, with elegant acidity and distinct local character, is a perfect compliment to Chef Sara's cuisine - simple, rustic and thoughtful in it's combination of flavors. These talented ladies, along with Sommelier Kelsey Glasser, are excited to host you for a treat of a night with local wine and local ingredients in exciting interplay.
